Energynote

Smart solar panel monitoring and analysis

Energynote is a responsive web app for monitoring and analysing data from solar panels.

Energynote utilises multiple complex and dynamic live and historic data charts that can be altered on the fly to present the user with tailored and detailed information.

Working in a full Agile environment I was responsible for all development including app architecture, UI build, data integration, unit testing and bug fixing,

I built the Energynote web app as a fully responsive application in AngularJS and Vanilla JavaScript. I also developed the complete UI using Bootstrap 3 and LESS. To setup all the test suites for the application I used Jasmine and Karma.

Finally I setup Gulp to run the tests and build both the production and development versions of the application.

I worked with Marty on and off for 2.5 years. He's one of the best designers I've ever worked with. Not only does he have great design skills, he also creates the code to make it run exactly as it should. Whether it's writing expert Actionscript, making databases work, figuring out how to code for Bebo, and much more. Marty's enthusiasm to do a good job is unfailing. He's a natural all rounder and a great communicator. Working with Marty was a pleasure. His fun and positive personality, plus talent and integrity - make him someone I'd recommend wholeheartedly!

The best quality of Marty was that he remains cool how grim the situation is. He was versatile & has a wonderful attribute to multi-task his work with great ease. As a person, he was humble, honest and caring. I was impressed by his analytic skills; deep-thinking, and resolve to overcome gravest of challenges. Also, it's fun to work with him.

Definitely, where ever he goes, he will make his mark & bring the best out of his team.
